Improving management capacity for tourism staff in Quang Ninh

A training course to improve management capacity for tourism staff in Ha Long City opened on August 28th.

The event was co-ordinated by the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the EU project (the EU-funded Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Programme).

It is part of the EU project’s cooperative plan to support the development of responsible tourism in Ha Long Bay.

During the six-day training course, 30 trainees studied and researched some basic subjects such as the importance of work standards in management – Vietnam Tourism Occupational Skill Standards, the role and management function, supervisory skills, customer care, managing protocol, rooms, hotels and human resources./.
