2017 marked impressive success for Saigontourist Travel Service Company, in business as well as its contributions to social community, with a series of convincing figures.
The company received many delegations of maritime tourists in 2017
The company achieved total travel revenue of more than VND4.25 trillion, up 10% and served 870,000 domestic and foreign arrivals, up more than 10% over a year earlier.
In 2017, Saigontourist received and served many high-end international cruise ships with a total of 210 arrivals at Ho Chi Minh city, Vung Tau, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue and Ha Long. It served more than 400,000 maritime tourists and crew members, a 30% rise against 2016.
In addition, MICE (meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions) tourism type is also a highlight in the company’s overall picture, with services provided to 45,000 tourists, up 10% from the previous year.
The company’s whole system also served hundreds of large-scale delegations, such as 3,600 tourists in the Mekong Delta, 2,400 tourists in Da Lat, 2,000 tourists in Vung Tau, 1,200 tourists in Dubai, 900 tourists in Thailand, 780 tourists in the Republic of Korea and 250 tourists in Europe./.
