Da Lat targets about 5.9 million tourists in 2018

By mid-November 2018, the city greeted 5.5 million tourist arrivals, including 4.2 million travelers staying overnight, 97.6% of the year’s plan or a year-on-year rise of 17.5%. For the whole year, Da Lat expects to welcome more than 5.7 million tourists, 102% of the year’s plan.

In order to attract more tourists to the city of flowers, functional agencies mobilized tourism business establishments to expand tourism types such as garden tourism and agricultural tourism. They also urged tourism businesses to be civilized in business and strengthen inspection and rectification of mistakes.

So far, Da Lat has had 84 tourism business establishments registering “Green brand”, 17 establishments registering “High quality shopping places”, and 28 establishments joining to vote and introduce agricultural tourism destinations./.
