The policy of piloting 63-seat double-decker buses to carry tourists in Ho Chi Minh city has received approval of the city People’s Committee.

Accordingly, the service will be used for two tourism routes. The first is Sai Gon – Gia Dinh city tour, beginning and ending at a location near the city theatre on Dong Khoi street. The route includes tourist destinations such as: the city theatre, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Nha Rong Wharf, Tran Hung Dao Statue, Thao Cam Vien, National Historical Museum, War Remnants Museum, Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ben Thanh Market, Thong Nhat Palace, Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral and Sai Gon Central Post Office.
The route has double-decker buses operating from 9h00 to 17h45 everyday with 35 minutes between arrivals.
The second is City Tour Hop on - Hop off, beginning and ending at the Sai Gon Central Post Office. Double decker buses run through the Sai Gon Central Post Office, National Historical Museum, War Remnants Museum, Bui Vien Walking Street, Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ben Thanh Market, Bitexco Financial Tower – Skydeck, Tran Hung Dao Statue, Bach Dang Wharf, Nguyen Hue Walking Street and the city theatre.
Running at a frequency of 30 minutes, the double-decker buses run from 9h00 to 17h45 everyday and there are two double decker buses operating at 19h00 and 20h00.
Earlier, in 2018, Hanoi piloted the service to take tourists to the capital’s tourist destinations./.
