The 16th Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Festival will take place from July 16th to 19th.

The information was announced by the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Tourism and the city Tourism Association on July 8th.
According to Deputy Director of the city Tourism Association Tran Ngoc Dong Quan, the event will be held simultaneously with an international food festival at Le Van Tam Park in district 1.
The festival will see more than 150 pavilions of businesses from 50 localities nationwide, and for the first time will promote tours linking Ho Chi Minh city with the Mekong Delta and other sites in the South.
Promotions and discounts of 30 percent on various tourism products will be available to promote domestic travel.
The Southern hub served 9.4 million tourists in the last six months, including 1.3 million foreigners and 8.1 million Vietnamese, year-on-year decrease of 69.3 percent and 50.9 percent respectively, due to the COVID-19 pandemic./.
