(CPV) - The Vietnam International Tourism Mart (VITM Hanoi 2020) will have 400 display booths, said the organizers of the event.

Mr. Vu The Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that after long delay due to influence of COVID-19, VITM Hanoi 2020 will be held from August 12th to 15th at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace.
With the theme “Vietnamese tourism towards the future”, the organizers encourage businesses and organizations to bring out initiatives during the process of managing, doing business and operating, in combination with applying 4.0 technology.
As of July 9th, more than 500 businesses from 54 provinces and cities nationwide registered to attend the event. Additionally, VITM Hanoi will have the presence of 10 countries and territories such as Thailand, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, the RoK, UEA, Qatar, Peru and Colombia.
With the participation of airlines such as Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines (formerly Jetstar Pacific), this year’s fair will also promote connectivity between businesses and businesses, and between business and customers, in order to open new opportunities for travel and tourism businesses.
VITM Hanoi 2020 will include main activities such as introducing destinations, tourism products and services of countries, territories and tourism businesses; a ceremony honoring typical businesses and individuals, an online VITM Marathon; ACMEC Tourism Promotion Forum to Northeast Asian markets; and art performances./.
