In the last days of 2021, groups of workers accelerated the completion of the final items of stone cladding, planting flowers, and decorating lanterns at the Hue Imperial Citadel Night Street venue around the Hue Imperial Citadel.
Vo Le Nhat, Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee, said that when the COVID-19 epidemic is under control, the city will open the Hue Imperial Citadel Night Street to create opportunities for tourism development and socio-economic promotion. The pedestrian street is imbued with Hue culture, and promises to be a typical tourist product to attract tourists in the coming time.
The night street will have 28 stalls and 4 areas for cultural activities and experiences at Le Huan street park.
Da Nang City is preparing to organize an art space themed “The Window of Time” on both sides of the Han River to welcome the New Year 2022. Free entrance will be offered to Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Area, Cham Museum, Da Nang Museum, and Fine Arts Museum.
Huynh Dinh Quoc Thien, Director of the Da Nang Museum, said that free entrance offered at popular destinations is an opportunity for travel businesses to facilitate the construction and formation of tourism products and cheap tours.
In Hoi An City in the central province of Quang Nam, a market fair will take place at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 with handicrafts, OCOP, recycled and unique handmade products and many special activities, such as: : “Light up Hoi An Memories” at Hoi An Memories Island and “Christmas and New Year 2022” at Tan Thanh fishing village.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh, Vice Chairman of the Hoi An City People’s Committee, said that local people and visitors must ensure the principles of epidemic prevention.
