Da Nang chooses 17 pilot service providers to welcome international tourists

Aiming to carry out the pilot program of welcoming international tourists to the locality under the Government’s pilot program, Da Nang city has selected and announced the first 17 units participating in this program.
The units include 5 accommodation facilities being Vinpearl Condotel Riverfront Danang, Vinpearl Resort and Spa, Vinpearl Luxury Resort, Risemount Hotel and Muong Thanh Luxury Danang Hotel; 3 tourist attractions being the Marble Mountains, the Museum of Cham Sculpture and the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area; and 9 travel service businesses.

Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, said that so far, more than 90% of businesses have not opened and they will reopen according to the recovery progress of visitors.
Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee Tran Phuoc Son said that the organization of the pilot program aims to test and assess the level of infection, the ability to control, respond to, and handle medical incidents, and the ability to treat when a case of COVID-19 occurs (if any) as international tourists come to Da Nang.
