Hai Ba Trung special national relic recognized as tourist site

Accordingly, the City People’s Committee required the Hai Ba Trung Temple Relic Management Board to be responsible for exploiting and developing the tourist site in accordance with the provisions of the Tourism Law and other related legal documents.

The Hai Ba Trung Temple, also known as Ha Loi Temple, belongs to Ha Loi village, Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi. The temple worships two national heroes, the Trung sisters, Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, who led a mass uprising against the Han invaders to reclaim national independence after more than 200 years of foreign rule.

Annually, the Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival is organized from the 4th to the 10th day of the first lunar month to commemorate the two national heroes and review the heroic traditions of the ancestors in the early days of building and defending the country.

The relic site contains special values of history, culture, science, art and architecture, so the Prime Minister issued the decision to rank it as a special national relic in 2013./.
