Aiming to prepare for the resumption of activities to welcome and serve tourists, the Department of Tourism recommended organizations and individuals managing areas and attractions in the city to strictly implement measures against the COVID-19 epidemic in association with building and popularizing safe destinations for tourists.

Specifically, the units need to strictly implement the directives and directions of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People’s Committee; conduct mandatory medical declaration for all tourists by scanning QR Code; and strengthen dissemination and implementation of regulations on epidemic prevention and control by a system of signposts and warning signs.

In addition, they need to review and inspect the system of facilities and means of transport to serve tourists; complete account registration, log in to the system and perform COVID-19 safety assessment steps at https://safe.tourism.com.vn/auth/login.

They were asked to pay attention to improving the quality of tourism products and destinations associated with heritages, relics and craft villages in districts, towns; proactively coordinate with management agencies; and increase links and cooperation among units to build new, unique, attractive and specialized tourism products and services to create new experiences satisfying the needs and tastes of tourists in the new situation.

They should research and develop tourism products for demand stimulus, combos, tours, night tour programs; and coordinate with the Department of Tourism to promote products and services on the website of the Department or through events, festivals and fairs./.
