Ho Chi Minh City Golf Tourism Festival opens

The Ho Chi Minh City Golf Tourism Festival, co-organized by the City Department of Tourism and the Vietnam Golf Tourism Association, opened at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, on March 29.

The festival takes place until March 31 with activities such as a conference popularizing, training and promoting golf tourism; an exhibition introducing products and services in the field of golf and tourism; and introducing Vietnamese cuisine.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, there will also be the 2023 Golf Clubs Open Championship – Ping Cup with the participation of nearly 1,000 golfers who are domestic and international businesses and entrepreneurs.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, in addition to activities and events to promote tourism, the city's tourism industry also focuses on promoting activities to improve the quality of tourism services, investing in building new products, and increasing visitor experience.
In particular, it will focus on the type of tourism in the middle and high-end segments, with high spending levels, and Golf tourism is a typical example.
Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, assessed that unlike traditional tourists, golf tourists often come and return many times, ready to pay for high-class services. Therefore, the type of tourism is increasingly developing in the coming time./.
