Laos national carrier opens direct flights to Da Nang

On March 30, Laos national flag carrier (Laos Airlines) officially operated a direct flight route from Vientiane (Laos) to Da Nang. The first flight QV317 from Vientiane brought nearly 150 passengers to the central coastal city.

On this occasion, Laos Airlines also offered 3 vouchers for round-trip air tickets on the Vientiane-Da Nang route to 3 lucky guests.
According to Lao Airlines, the Vientiane-Da Nang route will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a maximum capacity of 158 passengers, lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes. There will be 2 flights a week, on Thursday and Sunday.
The flight route is very significant to Da Nang tourism, not only connecting Da Nang with the Laotian market, but also helping link the central city with other tourist markets in the northeastern region of Thailand.
In 2022, Laos ranked 10th among the main tourist markets of Da Nang, with nearly 10,000 visitors, accounting for 2.1% of the total number of tourists to the city./.
