Large cruise ship brings 3,500 international tourists to Vietnam

The international ship Spectrum of the Seas on February 26 docked at Phu My Port in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, bringing 3,500 British, American and Australian nationals to Vietnam for 2 days. In the coming days, many other cruise ships will continue to bring international tourists to Vietnam.

After docking at Phu My Port, tourists from Spectrum of the Seas have chosen many tours to explore Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City and Tien Giang province.

Some of them chose to visit Ho Phap Pagoda, Tan Hoa sanctuary, Hoa Long market and ancient houses in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Others came to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Independence Palace, City Post Office, City Theater, shopped at Ben Thanh market and joined cooking classes, visited Cu Chi tunnels, rode bicycles to see rubber forests and rice fields; and visited Long Phuoc tunnels.

Many of them chose tours to My Tho in Tien Giang to visit the workshop making traditional dishes such as coconut candy, rice paper, popcorn, or wine; and took  a rowing boat to visit the orchard and listen to the folk music.

According Saigon Travel Service Company (Saigontourists), together with Spectrum of the Seas, in the first quarter of this year, the company will continuously welcome international tourists from cruise ships of companies such as TUI Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Silversea Cruises, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

These ships will dock in Ha Long, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City./.
