Italian cruise ship MSC Poesia arrived at Nha Trang Bay in the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on April 1, bringing with it a total of 2,145 European visitors to Nha Trang city.
During the course of their one-day stay in the city, European guests are to be taken to some of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, including Long Son pagoda, Ponagar Cham towers, Truong Son craft village, and Dam market.
They also experienced contemplating Nha Trang city from high above, going on a cyclo tour, enjoying mud bathing, and learning cooking in Memento tourist area in Dien Khanh district.
The cruise ship docked at Da Nang City. Moving forward, it is set to visit Ho Chi Minh City on April 2 before travelling to Thailand.
Launched back in 2008, MSC Poesia is the third of Italy-based MSC Cruises' four Musica-class vessels. It weighs a total of 92,600 tonnes and has a capacity of 3,000 passengers.
So far this year Khanh Hoa province has welcomed five cruise ships carrying 1,949 passengers, with April seeing the locality welcome two more cruise ships.
Khanh Hoa province is aiming to welcome approximately four million tourists this year, including 1.5 million international visitors, earning estimated tourism revenue of VND21 trillion in the process./.
