Southern city issues safety assessment criteria for tourism activities

The Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has just issued a set of safety assessment criteria in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic for tourism activities in areas with a high level of safety.

Accordingly, 100% of employees working at departments in contact with guests and tourists must have had two doses of COVID-19 vaccination for at least 14 days or have recovered after being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

At the same time, 100% of employees working in the remaining parts of the facility must have at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days previous and have negative periodic test results. Unvaccinated workers are only allowed to work online. Employees who directly serve guests must undergo rapid testing every 3 days.

Guests 18 years old or older must ensure that they have had all COVID-19 vaccines for at least 14 days or have recovered after being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. They must have confirmation for enough antibodies as prescribed if they have self-treating at home.

Guests under 18 years of old must have a certificate of negative rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 within 48 hours prior to joining the tour.

According to the criteria for assessing the level of safety in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic for the operation of travel businesses, 100% of employees working at departments in contact with tourists and outsiders must have 2 doses of vaccine or F0 having recovered for at least 14 days.

Visitors must also receive 2 doses of vaccine or have recovered from the disease. The destinations in the tourism program belong to the green zone and are eligible to operate according to the safety criteria for epidemic prevention and control.

The Ho Chi Minh City Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control will review, amend and supplement criteria to suit the situation of epidemic prevention and control in the city./.
