Trains with steam engines to carry tourists on Hue-Da Nang route

The project is collaboration between Vietnam Railways Corporations (VNR) and the Dong Duong Rail Tourist Service Co., Ltd.

The Dong Duong Rail Tourist Service Co., Ltd invests all capital for building and renovating locomotives and carriages; and leasing national railway infrastructure and land reserved for railways to serve train operation.

Meanwhile, VNR provides transportation management services and train running charts.

To effectively exploit the steam locomotive, transportation experts said it is necessary to build auxiliary works such as coal and water supply systems and they must be licensed by the competent authority./.
