The carrier is continuing to monitor markets to develop an appropriate exploitation plan in the next phase, ensuring the highest requirements for epidemic prevention and control and isolation capacity in localities.
Earlier, from April to June 2021, Vietnam Airlines operated a number of one-way routes from Vietnam to Seoul (the Republic of Korea), Tokyo (Japan) and Sydney (Australia).
As scheduled, Vietnam Airlines will resume two routes to Australia, including one between HCM city and Sydney from July 15 to October 30 and one between HCM city and Melbourne from July 20 to October 30.
The departure schedule of flights from HCM city to Sydney is every Thursday and Sunday, returning every Tuesday and Saturday, while flights from HCM city to Melbourne will fly every Tuesday and returning every Thursday.
For the flight network to Europe, the carrier reopens routes between Hanoi and Frankfurt (Germany) and London (the UK). Specifically, flights from Hanoi to Frankfurt will be operated on July 25, July 28 and August 21; from Hanoi to London on August 13 and September 2. Return flights from Frankfurt to Hanoi are scheduled on July 26, July 29 and August 22; and from London to Hanoi on August 14 and September 3.
In Asia, from July 17 to October 30, Vietnam Airlines will re-operate the route between Hanoi and Tokyo (Japan) every Wednesday and Saturday. From August 1 to October 30, the airline will open more routes between HCM city and Bangkok (Thailand) every Wednesday; and flights from Tokyo (Japan) to HCM city every Thursday.
All international flights during the period are operated by two of Vietnam Airlines’ most modern wide-body aircraft, Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for passengers, especially on long-haul flights to Europe and Australia./.
