At the event, tourism images of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Da Lat, Hai Phong, Long An and Vung Tau were introduced by the TOP (Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia Pacific Cities).

Activities throughout the festival included displaying a map of Vietnam’s tourist destinations and showing tourism promotional videos, and quiz games to spread the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City as well as other provinces and TPO member countries. Besides, banners promoting a photo and video contest hosted by Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat city were also displayed at the event.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism said that it has cooperated with 4 localities including Quang Binh, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam to organize a webinar for travel partners and guests from the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The webinar was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK, Nguyen Vu Tung; Korean Consul General in Da Nang, Mr Ahn Min-sik; and more than 160 guests, including about 80 Korean travel partners.

At the event, many Korean travel partners expressed their desire to organize charter flights and self-contained package tours for tourists during the peak tourism season at the end of 2021 and the New Year of 2022.

Earlier, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism also officially released a video with the theme “Vietnam: Going To Love! - Live fully in Vietnam”, marking a new step in the process of tourism recovery and promotion. The 2 minute video takes visitors on a journey of discovery and experience in Vietnamese culture, nature and people./.
