Vietnam to resume air route between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok

From January 21, Vietjet will operate 2 return flights per week on Fridays and Saturdays between Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok, Thailand).

In Thailand, Vietjet is also operating a flight network connecting Bangkok with tourist and economic centers of the land of golden temples such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Hat Yai, Nakhon Si Thammarat , Surat Thani, Udon Thani, Khon Kae and Ubon Ratchathani, among other inter-regional routes.

Earlier, from January 1, the budget carrier also opened ticket sales and re-operated international commercial flights between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo (Japan), Taipei (China), Seoul (the Republic of Korea) and Singapore, with 1 return flight a week for each route.

In the next phase, Vietjet is expected to reopen all international routes the carrier has operated before and open more routes to India and Russia.

Vietjet’s representative said that the resumption of regular international flights has been carefully prepared in all aspects, with new aviation products and reasonable costs, giving passengers a safe flying experience on new generation aircraft.

Passengers flying internationally with Vietjet from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will be given a free COVID-19 PCR test package and free rapid test at designated testing points in Vietnam./.
