Times Square is famous as the busiest intersection in the world with an average of more than 330,000 people passing through each day. The Thomson Reuters building is one of the icons of the square with a large 700 square meter outdoor LED screen on its facade.
The video displayed the most famous tourist attractions of Vietnam, including the mysterious Son Doong Cave, vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, the unique Golden Bridge - Da Nang, the magnificent Ha Long Bay, the poetic boating scene in Ninh Binh and a delicious piping hot bowl of pho in Hanoi.
The sequence of images provides a glimpse of a picturesque Vietnam to visitors, inspiring them to travel to Vietnam.
The video also announced the opening of the regular flight route between Vietnam and the US by Vietnam Airlines.
Previously, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a license for Vietnam Airlines to operate regular commercial flights between Vietnam and the US. This is the first Vietnam air carrier licensed to run scheduled air service to the US.
According to information from Vietnam Airlines, the regular flight route between Ho Chi Minh City and San Francisco (USA) has 2 flights a week and is expected to increase to 7 flights a week after the epidemic is controlled. In addition, the airline is also studying to open some new routes between Los Angeles and Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.

The establishment of regular direct flights between Vietnam and the US will contribute to tightening diplomatic relations between the two countries and promote economic, cultural, trade and tourism exchanges in the coming time.
Vietnam continuously receiving leading regional and global awards from prestigious world organizations, as well as opening more direct flights to the US and other countries, will offer extremely favorable conditions to not only promote Vietnam’s tourism brand in the international arena, but also contribute to creating momentum for tourism recovery and development in the near future./.
