Dong Nai agrees to build 3 more bridges to Ho Chi Minh City

The southern province of Dong Nai has agreed to develop 3 more bridges linking it with neighboring Ho Chi Minh City, and proposed the alignment and scale of the bridges.
At the same time, it is recommended to add investment capital in a bridge to replace Cat Lai ferry before 2025.
The People’s Committee of Dong Nai has sent a document to the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to comment on the road traffic connection plan between the two localities.

One of the three bridges will connect HCM City’s Thu Duc City and Dong Nai province’s Tam An commune, Long Thanh district. One will link southern HCM City with Dong Nai’s Nhon Trach district, and the other will replace the existing Cat Lai ferry.
Work on the six-lane Cat Lai bridge is scheduled to start before 2025. The other two bridges will be developed in the 2026-2030 period./.
