OCOP week houses over 100 stalls in Hanoi

A week to promote OCOP (One Commune One Product) and connect consumption of agricultural products and regional specialties was held by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade on August 16.

In her speech at the event, Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that the week has practical significance in accompanying and supporting businesses and cooperatives of Hanoi and other provinces and cities to connect product consumption and at the same time helping consumers to recognize and have more choices of consuming quality products at reasonable prices.

The event features 100 stalls, with the participation of more than 60 enterprises and cooperatives of Hanoi and 20 provinces such as Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Quang Nam, Phu Yen, Nghe An, Bac Giang, Son La, and Can Tho.

The week will run until August 20 at Me Linh Plaza Trade Center, Ha Dong District, Hanoi.

Currently, Hanoi has 1,649 OCOP that have been evaluated and classified, and 56 points of introduction and sale of OCOP have been put into operation. In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to expand more points so that the prestigious and quality products can come closer to consumers./.
