Vietnamese group exports first commercial steel batch to US

On April 17, at Nghi Son International Port (Thanh Hoa province), VAS Group exported its first commercial steel batch under the brand name VAS to the US, which is expected to arrive at Houston Port (US) in the near future.

In 2023, VAS Group will export the second commercial steel shipment to the port of Los Angeles, the US logistics center.
VAS steel products are well received and appreciated by the US market thanks to the outstanding clean and green steel quality. In addition, VAS is also consistent with its sustainable development strategy, maintaining its growth capacity associated with a modern induction furnace system, combined with advanced waste monitoring and treatment lines according to European standards.
This is also a pioneer enterprise in deploying a green steel production model to help VAS steel brand reach out further and strengthen its position in the market, meet the needs of domestic consumption and open up many opportunities for international trade.
This result proves VAS’ correct strategic direction in developing a complete ecosystem with a chain system of 5 steel factories that can complement each other, helping to improve production capacity, ensuring output and product quality. Through Nghi Son International Seaport, VAS ensures supply and has a close connection between transportation stages and delivery schedule, meeting the diverse needs of domestic and foreign customers.
Not only succeeding in bringing commercial steel exports to the US, VAS has conquered selective markets around the world such as the Republic of Korea, China, Japan and Guatemala. This further affirms the position of VAS steel as worthy of the international standard./.
