The equipment included 2 high-quality Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators made by a US Group. These are two specialized ventilators in emergency resuscitation, widely used in central and provincial hospitals.

According to a representative from the Dong Nai General Hospital, the Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators have many advantages over other ventilators in the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Specifically, it is capable of killing viruses, avoiding the spread of viruses into the environment; thus avoiding cross-infection for other patients and medical staff.

Previously, in February, the Sonadezi Corporation presented a Real-time PCR testing system worth VND5 billion to the Dong Nai health sector. Currently, this testing system is being managed and used by the Dong Nai Center for Disease Control, effectively contributing to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in the area over the past time.

So far, the Sonadezi Corporation and its member units have contributed and donated more than VND7.5 billion of medical machinery and equipment for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. A Sonadezi Coorporation’s leader said that the corporation will continue to actively accompany Dong Nai Province and the health sector in pandemic prevention and control and care for people's health. In the near future, it is expected to provide the Dong Nai General Hospital 2,000 rapid tests for SARS-CoV-2 virus./.
