It will be the first budget carrier directly connecting Vietnam with Japan.

The airline started selling tickets for the air routes on June 26th, with preferential one-way prices starting from VND1.28 million at its official agencies nationwide and website www.jetstar.com.

Flights from Da Nang and Hanoi are scheduled to be operated from September 1st and 2nd with four return flights a week by Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats.

Meanwhile, one-way economy tickets on the Osaka - Hanoi and Osaka - Da Nang routes are priced from VND1.5 million, excluding promotional tickets.

In 2016, Vietnam greeted more than 740,000 Japanese tourist arrivals, and the figure is expected to rise significantly in the coming time thanks to low-cost air service.

Jetstar Pacific now operates nearly 100 international flights a week to Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Guangzhou (China), and more than 500 domestic flights a week to most of Vietnam’s famous tourist attractions./.
