The Da Nang Department of Tourism on December 26th said a fireworks display will be organized on Han river to celebrate New Year’s Eve and the 21st anniversary of Da Nang becoming a centrally-governed city.

As planned, the fireworks display will last 14 minutes, starting from 21h00 of December 31
st, 2017. All expenses for the event are mobilized from socialized sources.
More than 1,000 high-range fireworks, and 337 low-range firework barrels will be shot from the middle of the river, in combination with the FireOne - the world's most advanced digital fireworks firing system and choreography system.
The city will also host other activities to celebrate the holiday such as a Count-down party at September 23rd Park and a music festival at East Sea Park.
The tourism agency said tourists to the central coastal city reach an estimated 143,000 during Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2018, a year-on-year rise of 17.9%, as the occasion is the peak season for holiday-makers from the US, Australia, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea./.
