Under the one-year project, ADPi will cover the adjustments to the detailed plan to make Noi Bai Airport capable of handling between 80 and 100 million passengers per year by 2030, the Vietnam News Agency has reported.

The Government of France has approved a non-refundable aid of USD1.31 million for the project and assigned ADPi to work with the CAAV on a master plan.

The planning is part of the prioritized cooperation between France and Vietnam in the field of civil aviation, including cooperation on institution, supply of aircrafts for Vietnamese company, and supply of equipment and services on aviation safety and airport infrastructure in Vietnam.

Noi Bai International Airport has been planned to serve 25 million passengers and more than 260,000 tons of cargo per year by 2020. The figure would be 50 million and 500,000 tons of goods a year after 2030.

It was listed among 100 best global airports in 2016, 2017 and 2018 by international air transport rating organization Skytrax.

ADPi has appeared in Vietnam since 2000 and joined strategic projects such as expansion of Tan Son Nhat International Airport and construction of Long Thanh International Airport./.
