Ho Chi Minh City to launch three new waterway routes

In the second and third quarters of 2020, Ho Chi Minh city will launches three new waterway routes, departing from Bach Dang wharf in District 1 to District 9 and 7 as well as Binh Quoi Tourist Village.

According to the city’s Tourism Department, the Bach Dang - District 9 route will go through tourist sites including gardens, Ao Dai museum, and a worshipping place of the founder of Vietnamese stage art. During the route, visitors will have opportunity to experience farming life through various activities such as fish caching, and cooking.

Visitors will have chance to enjoy with light and water musical shows on Saigon river during the route linking Bach Dang and Binh Quoi.

The route between Bach Dang Wharf and District 7 will stop by rural markets, food streets, and shopping areas.

So far, seven river way tourism routes have been put in operation in the city./.
