(CPV) – The Hanoi Department of Tourism has just reported preparations for the Lunar New Year 2021 to the city People’s Committee.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism strengthens many measures to encourage units to organize new tourism products to serve tourists on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.

Specifically, the department has directed service businesses in the city to build products and programs to stimulate domestic tourism to best meet the demand and conditions to serve tourists during Tet 2021.
Units have coordinated with districts and towns such as Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Ba Dinh, Tay Ho, Ba Vi, Son Tay, My Duc and Gia Lam to promote activities to serve tourists at some popular destinations such as Hoan Kiem pedestrian zones, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature), Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street, Ba Vi National Park, Duong Lam ancient village, Bat Trang pottery village and Huong Pagoda.
In addition, the Department has requested connection with tourism associations, travel clubs and alliances to sell high-quality tourism products favored by tourists such as Hoa Lo Prison night tour, Tet experience activities at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, entertainment activities and sightseeing at Ba Vi National Park, Hanoi City Tour Hop on - Hop off and Thang Long - Hanoi City Tour.
In addition, the Department organizes training courses on civilized behavior in tourism activities, public tourism development for officials and people of some key tourism communes in Huong Son commune in My Duc district and Sai Son commune in Quoc Oai district.
The Department continues to maintain activities to support tourists, such as hotline and switchboard 1800.556896 to promptly resolve questions and receive feedback of local people and tourists./.
