Foreign tourists to Hanoi hit nearly 4 million

Of this, foreign tourists were estimated at 3.99 million, up 26% over a year earlier, and domestic tourists were over 15.82 million, up 7%; grossing a revenue of VND58.65 trillion, up 16%.

According to statistics, the city saw rapid growth in number of travellers to famous spots and destinations in the ten months, including the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Huong Pagoda and Co Loa relic.

Some destinations seeing slight reduction in tourist numbers were Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, Ao Vua tourism area and Ba Vi National Park./.
