The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAA) has officially granted aircraft operator certificate to Bamboo Airways.

Bamboo Airways was established in 2017. It has made careful preparations for operation standards, perfected human resources, techniques and material conditions.
As planned, the airline will operate 37 air routes connecting to all major cities and famous tourist attractions, with 60 domestic flights a day in 2019.
The first domestic routes will be Hanoi - Quy Nhon, Hanoi - Dong Hoi, Ho Chi Minh city - Quy Nhon, Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh city, and Ho Chi Minh city - Van Don, with the aim of reducing the pressure on aviation infrastructure in big cities and increasing regional connection.
The airline said it has fixed international flight plans with its partners such as Japan, the Republic of Korea, other Asian and European countries, to prepare for long air routes from this year.
As planned, Bamboo Airways’ flights in international airspace to Asian and European countries will use wide-body aircraft./.
