According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, there will be 16 regular flights from Tokyo and Osaka, and 10 chartered flights from Nagoya, Sapporo, Sendai, Niigata and Fukuoka.
A representative from Da Nang International Airport said many flights planned to fly Da Nang during the period because this is the first time after many years that Japan has a 10-day holiday.
In addition, the Airport and Da Nang Department of Tourism coordinated with Japan’s Chubu Centrair International Airport to launch chartered flights from Nagoya to Da Nang and vice versa starting from April 27th, paving the way for regular flights on the route since the beginning of 2020.
From 2017 to now, Da Nang is emerging as one of the most attractive destinations for Japanese visitors. The number of vacationers from the marker ranked third, after the Republic of Korea and China. Therefore, Japanese companies are associating with air service providers to operate charter flights.
The Da Nang International Airport is now operating 33 international routes, in which two routes connect Osaka and Narita with the central coastal hub and vice versa./.
