Speaking at the forum, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Le Huy Hoang and Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Le Hong Thang confirmed that the participation of a wide number of authorized agencies’ representatives and businesses from the two countries reflected both sides’ care in promoting goods exchange and bilateral investment and tourism.
According to Ambassador Hoang, the Vietnamese Government commits to continue to support the two countries’ businesses.

Meanwhile, Mr. Thang noted that Hanoi provides favourable conditions, including in policies, traffic infrastructure and human resources, as well as the city determination to actively assist foreign businesses in joining economic, investment and trade cooperation activities.
Mozambique Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Júlio João Pio expressed his hope to further increase economic, trade and investment cooperation, encouraging Vietnamese businesses to invest in his country in agriculture, agricultural product processing and mining.
During the forum, Ambassador Hoang and the Hanoi business delegation delivered presentations introducing Vietnam’s economic, trade, investment and tourism potential, as well as its preferential policies in supporting trade and investment activities between the two countries; and promoting Vietnamese key goods such as agricultural products, handicraft products, textile and garment, wooden and construction material products.
Additionally, Hanoi and Vietnamese cultural and historical destinations were also introduced to attract more and more tourists from Mozambique and surrounding countries.
Vietnamese and Mozambican businesses exchanged measures to tackle obstacles in administrative procedures for long-term cooperation.
Many showed their hope that the two countries will promptly sign deals on double tax avoidance and financial and banking deals to protect businesses’ legitimate interests./.
