Hanoi tourism ad on CNN runs over 700 times

The Hanoi Department of Tourism said that it had received notice about the number of aired films promoting Hanoi on CNN International from June to August 2019.

Hanoi is always named among the world's leading tourist destinations by CNN 

The broadcast content includes two 30-second commercials produced by CNN in 2017-2018, including “Hanoi - Heart of Vietnam” and “Hanoi - Cradle of Heritage”.

Specifically, the two commercials were aired from June 3rd to August 31st, 2019. The broadcast time for August alone is from 1st to 31st. They run simultaneously in four areas of CNN International; including Asia - Pacific, Europe - Middle East, South Asia and North America.

The total number of broadcasts is estimated at 703, including 298 times in June; 203 times July; and 202 times August.

Hanoi selected CNN for a two-year multiplatform partnership that evolved from the introduction of Hanoi as an ideal travel destination to explore the city's heritage, culture and history.

The move aims to increase awareness and consideration of Hanoi as a must-visit tourist destination./.
