Nearly 5 million tourists visit Quang Binh in 2019

Since the beginning of the year, the central province of Quang Binh has greeted about 5 million tourists, including 250,000 foreign tourists, grossing revenue of VND5.57 trillion, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.

So far, the locality has had 370 accommodation establishments; 24 tour operators; 3,000 catering business establishments; 275 tourist guides and about 5,000 direct workers and 12,000 indirect workers related to the non-smoke industry.
Recently, the Department of Tourism has focused on investing in infrastructure construction and improving the quality of services and human resources; significantly contributing to attracting more tourists to Quang Binh.
Additionally, it increased tourism promotion and advertising with diverse methods, rich contents and focused on developing many tourism products and types in order to affirm the brand, image and tourist destinations of Quang Binh on the world map.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang continued to be listed among the most sought-after destinations in Vietnam, as voted by the world’s leading travel magazine Lonely Planet.
In 2020, the locality strives to welcome 5.5 million travelers and is expected to become one of the leading tourism centers in the region./.
