Ho Chi Minh city tourism sector focuses on exploiting domestic market

The Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Department has launched a media campaign named "Hello Ho Chi Minh city" to boost the domestic tourism market as well as prepare for the international tourist market; widely deploying demand stimulation packages for tourism markets, both domestically and internationally.

In addition, the department has also carried out measures under the campaign "Vietnamese people travel Vietnam", promoting demand stimulation for domestic tourists to Ho Chi Minh city and to Mekong Delta provinces and cities with three main programs. This will be the direction of tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh city in the near future.
According to the department, tour packages in this period are mainly aimed at restarting and exploring the market after the period of social distancing./.
