On December 17, Bamboo Airways announced a direct flight connecting Vietnam with Australia at Melbourne International Airport in Victoria, Australia.
According to the plan, Bamboo Airways will officially launch a direct commercial flight from Vietnam to Australia in early 2022, connecting the two cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the two airports of Melbourne and Sydney. These are the two busiest international airports in this country.
Representatives of the two sides believe that the opening of a direct flight connecting the two countries is a good signal for international students and the Vietnamese community in Australia to be able to easily move between Vietnam and Australia to work, do business and travel.
The event came right after the Australian Government announced the opening of international borders, laying the foundation for Bamboo’s activities to continuously expand its flight network to connect Vietnam to other countries around the world.
Currently, Bamboo Airways is an airline operating a diverse fleet of aircraft, ranging from wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, narrow-body A320 family and especially the first and only airline to bring regional jet Embraer 190 for operation in Vietnam./.
