Da Lat city, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, welcomed more than 7 million tourists in 2022, an increase of 340% against last year, said the provincial People’s Committee in a conference on November 22.

This figure includes 150,000 foreign tourists, fulfilling 100% of the year’s plan, up 700%, and 5.5 million tourists registering for overnight staying, 110% of the year’s plan, up 300%.
Revenue from accommodation, catering and tourism services reached 11.9 trillion VND, up more than 122%.
Over the past time, the Lam Dong People’s Committee has directed, organized many programs and events to attract domestic and foreign tourists, such as Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week, the reopening of a number of charter flights from the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia to Lam Dong from July 2022, and the 9th Da Lat Flower Festival.
In 2023, Da Lat – Lam Dong set a target of welcoming 6.5 million tourists, up 18.2%; including 250,000 international tourists, up 67%./.
