Famous tourist sites and attractions on Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, such as Lung Cu flagpole, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Sung La Valley, Vuong family mansion, Nho Que River and Dong Van ancient town, were constantly overloaded by the number of visitors and means of transport to visit and take pictures.

Because of good preparation, the security and order situation was guaranteed, there were no serious traffic accidents or local congestion.

During Tet 2023 holiday, Ha Giang saw about 600 restaurants, hotels and tourist areas open to welcome tourists. Due to the preparation of facilities in advance, visitors (most of them booked before Tet) were provided full accommodation, meals and ancillary services.

Room capacity was estimated at about 80-100%, especially full occupancy seen in the four districts of the Stone Plateau. Total revenue from tourists was estimated at more than 200 billion VND./.
