A charter flight carrying the first 140 tourists from Uzbekistan landed at Cam Ranh International Airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa on June 14, marking the arrival of tourists from Central Asia to this province.

Amega Tourism and General Trading Co., Ltd., the unit conducting the charter flight, said that from now until August 28, the company will coordinate with Uzbekistan Airways to make flights every 10 day to bring tourists from Uzbekistan to Khanh Hoa.
According to the Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Center, Uzbekistan is the third international tourist market with direct flights to Cam Ranh International Airport; besides the Republic of Korea and Singapore.
In 2022, Khanh Hoa aims to welcome more than 1.2 million visitors, including 1.16 million domestic tourists and 40,000 international visitors, with a revenue of 4 trillion VND, an increase of 80% compared to 2021.
Khanh Hoa is hosting the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2022 with the theme “Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa: Touching the Heart”, taking place from June 16 to 19. As many as 200 tourism, commercial and culinary stalls are featured at the festival, and many other community activities.
Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Le Thanh said that in addition to familiar sea and island, mountain and forest tourism products, the central province will introduce tours associated with Dak Lak and Lam Dong.
Besides, the festival also has an area to introduce typical culinary culture, OCOP products, and typical products of Khanh Hoa province and some other localities./.
