Ninh Binh welcomes over 250,000 tourists in early 2023

In the early days of 2023, the northern province of Ninh Binh welcomed 256,941 domestic and international visitors, up 55 times over the same period last year, and tourism revenue was estimated at 380 billion VND.

The above results come from the efforts of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism in controlling the quality of services, ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation, and disease prevention, as well as the proactive participation of businesses and local people in order to create safety, civilization and friendliness in destinations.
The prominent destinations attracting a large number of tourists include Trang An eco-tourism area (21,800 tourists); Bai Dinh Pagoda mountain spiritual tourist area (8,250 tourists); Thung Nham Bird Garden (over 10,600 tourists); Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area (7,500 tourists); Hang Mua tourist area (5,200 tourists); Cuc Phuong National Park (1,600 tourists); and Phat Diem Stone Church (3,250 tourists).
The rapid increase in the number of tourists saw many accommodation establishments operating at full capacity, such as: the Reed Hotel, Hoang Son, Vedana, Emeralda, Tam Coc Garden, and Hidden Charm.
These are considered positive signals, affirming that Ninh Binh continues to be one of the top destinations chosen by tourists during the upcoming 2023 Lunar New Year./.
