Over 194,000 tourists visit Da Nang on Christmas and New Year’s Eve

The central coastal city of Da Nang greeted about 194,120 visitors during Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays, in which 65,770 arrivals were foreigners, according to the city Department of Tourism.

Specifically, the majority of domestic tourists came from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and neighboring central localities such as Quang Nam, Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Ngai.
Meanwhile, foreign tourists mainly come from the Republic of Korea, India, and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore).
During the occasion, the city organized numerous attractive activities and events to serve local people and tourists such as Countdown 2023, fire and water spraying programs at Dragon Bridge on every Friday and Sunday, Son Tra night market activities, Helio night market, crusing experience on Han River, and Da Nang Fine Art exhibition.
Many tourist accommodation establishments offered a policy of reducing room rates by 10% or more or had preferential price packages for tourists staying overnight, while 5-star coastal hotels featured Christmas and New Year Gala Dinners./.
