Over 50,000 tourists visit Dong Loc T-junction in July

Especially, on the peak days of July (the month of gratitude), the Management Board welcomed more than 5,000 visitors. Since the beginning of the year, more than 200,000 domestic and foreign tourists visited and paid gratitude at the Dong Loc T-junction.

Head of the Management Board of the Dong Loc T-junction historical site Tran Dinh Uoc said that in order to ensure the reception of the delegations, the Management Board enhanced promotion, improved professional expertise, and fostered training for the team of guides.

The Management Board has focused on embellishing the overall relic site, restoring degraded construction items, cleaning the environment to create the best conditions for tourists when coming to the Dong Loc T-junction.

The Dong Loc T-junction, belonging to Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province and located on the Ho Chi Minh trail at the intersection of Highway 15A and Route 2, is dedicated to ten young female volunteers who sacrificed their lives to ensure the safe operation of the transport route linking to the southern front on July 24, 1968.

Covering an area of 50 hectares, Dong Loc T-junction was a strategic site located on the North-South supply route during the American war, handling supply trucks carrying soldiers, food, arms and munitions./.
