Earlier, aiming to stimulate tourism demand, from January 1 to June 30, Quang Ninh reduced the entrance fee to Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum and Yen Tu relic by 50%.
After the expiration of the 50% reduction in ticket prices in accordance with the province’s stimulus policy, from July 1, the ticket price on Ha Long Bay will be 250,000 VND per person for Route 1, 2 and 5, and 200,000 VND per person for Route 3 and 4. For visitors staying overnight on the Bay, the ticket price ranges from 500,000 to 750,000 VND per person.
At Quang Ninh Museum, the entrance fee for adults is 40,000 VND per person; students, and trainees, 20,000 VND per person; children, 10,000 VND per person. Entry is free for children less than 1.2m.
For Yen Tu relic, the ticket price for adults is 40,000 VND per person; children, 20,000 VND per person.
The Quang Ninh Department of Tourism said that, with the province’s stimulus policies, since the country reopened tourism on March 15, the number of tourists to the tourist attractions has continuously increased.
Currently, Ha Long Bay welcomes 30,000-40,000 visitors on weekends and 8,000-10,000 visitors on weekdays. Yen Tu relic welcomes about 1,000-1,200 visitors and Quang Ninh Museum greets about 7,000-10,000 visitors on weekends.
In the first 5 months of the year, Quang Ninh greeted more than 4.2 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 79%; total tourism revenue reached over 8.8 trillion VND, 8% higher than the proposed scenario./.
