Aiming to meet the increasing summer travel demand of passengers, the Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) implemented a plan to run more passenger trains on the North-South route to Quang Binh, Da Nang and Nha Trang.

Specifically, on the Hanoi - Da Nang section, the corporation runs two more trains SE17 and SE19, departing from Hanoi on July 6 to Da Nang and picking up and dropping off passengers at stations: Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh and Da Nang.
Train SE17 departs at 20:20, arrives in Dong Hoi at 6:49, Hue at 10:03 and Da Nang at 14:25. Train SE19 departs at 19:55, arrives in Dong Hoi at 6:07, Hue at 9:22 and Da Nang at 12:10.
On the Hanoi-Dong Hoi section, the railway sector runs an additional QB5 train on July 10 from Hanoi to Dong Hoi that picks up and drops off passengers at stations: Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Vinh, and Dong Hoi. Train QB5 departs at 22:10 and arrives in Dong Hoi at 7:20.
On the Sai Gon - Nha Trang section, the railway industry runs more trains SNT7, SNT8 and SNT9 between Saigon and Nha Trang.
Train SNT8 departs Saigon station on July 20 at 22:50 and arrives at Nha Trang station at 8:50.
For the Nha Trang – Sai Gon section, train SNT7 departs Nha Trang station on July 23 at 13:00 and arrives at Sai Gon station at 23:07. Train SNT9 departs Nha Trang station on July 2 and 5 at 15:00 and arrives at Saigon station at 1:10.
Earlier, the Sai Gon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that the railway sector continues to increase trains to the south depending on the needs of passengers on peak summer days./.
