Second Ho Chi Minh City Hot Air Balloon Festival opens

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism on December 8 launched the second Ho Chi Minh City Hot Air Balloon Festival to promote, introduce and attract tourists to the city at the end of the year and at the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2023.

The four-day event is being held at the Thu Thiem 2 footbridge park, Thu Duc city.
The festival will bring local people and visitors many unique and new activities, with different experiences and emotions through a colorful show with 20 large and small hot air balloons. They can also register for a hot air balloon flight to experience the feeling of seeing the whole city from a height of 50m.
Besides watching colorful hot air balloons, local people and visitors can easily participate in other activities such as enjoying the music space, cuisine, artistic creation, and especially a playground for children.
Le Truong Hien Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, said that the festival brings modern colors, as well as a positive rhythm to the vibrant and energetic atmosphere of a series of cultural, tourist and sport events within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week./.
