Some 84,000 visit Cai Rang floating market festival

The Cai Rang Floating Market Culture Festival greeted nearly 84,000 visitors from July 9 to 11, said Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Cai Rang district People’s Committee.
This is considered a positive signal for the recovery of the Can Tho tourism industry after the COVID-19 epidemic.

During the three-day festival, the organizing committee organized many exciting activities such as: Art program to welcome the festival; Dragon Boat racing; Cai Rang District Taekwondo Championship Open 2022; tourism promotion activities, and demonstration and introduction of agricultural products.
The festival attract the participation of 50 tourism business units in the city with numerous activities, such as: Ship parade; introducing floating market tours; renovating houses; painting and repairing boats at the floating market; and picking up trash on the river.
Besides, the festival has the presence of more than 50 business units with over 100 booths on display; promoting special tradtional cultural values, promoting craft villages and traditional handicraft products./.
