Southern city studies urban development around Tan Son Nhat Airport

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai has just given an opinion to direct the urban development planning in the area around Tan Son Nhat Airport, according to the Office of the municipal People’s Committee.

The Chairman has assigned Tan Binh, Tan Phu and Go Vap districts to study urban development solutions around Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and the Department of Planning and Architecture to consider the issue in the process of compiling and appraising adjustments to the general planning for the city to 2040 and vision to 2060.
At the same time, the districts are required to propose a commercial service development model suitable to the current economic development situation in the area./.
