The tourists visited the western rivers, surveyed the orchards, rowed boats around the coconut water canals, listened to the folk music, enjoyed fruit, and visited traditional-style confectionery factories and honey farms.

The Embassy of Vietnam in India, in collaboration with Asia Destination Management Joint Stock Company, introduced and selected Tien Giang as a tourist destination for the delegation.

According to Deputy Director of the Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vo Pham Tan, the Mekong Delta province has drastically implemented a program to restore and develop tourism. In the first 6 months of 2022, the province welcomed about 350,000 tourists, including nearly 9,500 international tourists. This is a very encouraging signal of the recovery of the local tourism industry./.
