Described as a “completely safe to visit” destination, Ho Chi Minh City is ranked first among the top trending destinations in 2023, according to America’s famous travel site, Travel off Path, based on visitor search volume.

These statements of Travel off Path are based on the survey results of the famous online travel company Kayak (the US).
The results of Kayak's survey show that there is a significant increase in searches for vacations in the region, especially as more and more Asian countries and other Pacific destinations have lifted all anti-epidemic measures. Kayak has named Asia and the South Pacific as the “region of the year” for international travel by 2023.
Based on the most recent Kayak data, Ho Chi Minh City took the lead with a search rate growth of 769% year-on-year, much higher than the second-placed destination, Taipei (Taiwan, China) with a growth rate of 289%.
According to Travel off Path, in 2023, the number of US tourists to Vietnam will continue to increase because the epidemic prevention and control restrictions have been lifted, international flights have been resumed and the important reasons is that “Vietnam is a completely safe destination to visit”.
Coming to Vietnam’s southern hub, visitors will have opportunities to explore a modern city. Mixed with modernity are the ancient features of the French colonial architecture which are preserved almost intact, and religious architecture.
Along with Ho Chi Minh City, other places making Travel off Path’s list are Tel Aviv (Israel), Tokyo (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Taipei (Taiwan, China), Auckland (New Zealand), Melbourne (Australia), and Sydney (Australia)./.
